This steam pumping engine, built in 1910 and doing 180hp, worked at Waddon pumping station, Croydon, Surrey. You can see its original working place in johnofbristol's youtube-video Last day at Waddon www.youtube.com . Now the engine is one of the highlights at Kew Bridge Steam Museum, London, see www.kbsm.org . The Waddon engine itself runs nearly noiseless, the soundtrack results from the neighbour's (Hathorn Davey triple engine) valve gear. If you like cats, look at 3:09 in this video. Viel Vergnuegen!
