Papplewick Pumping Station in steam

The Twin James Watt Steam engines at Papplewick are an insight to Victorian technology at its best, the 2 engines each of 140 hp drew 3000000 gallons of water a day between them from a well 200 feet deep for the nearby city of Nottingham and are a marvel to see in steam, the film shows the start up of one of the engines and earlier footage of both engines running
