One of the activities that we planned for winter camp was to get the students to prepare a speech to be made in front of class. There are a few steps that are necessary to ensure that every student has a chance to succeed. The results during camp were only positive and I look forward to using it during summer camp as well. Camps are not mandatory but they may as well be because there are some high schools who list them and attendance at them as prerequisites here! No break time for poor Korean kiddies I guess. Classes are 90 minutes long every day for 15 days. That's basically the equivalent of 30 regular classes. With this kind of time on our hands, we as teachers are free to explore the creative and fun capabilities of the students. Take control of your classroom. Give each class structure. Students will respond to this with enthusiasm and a desire to learn. Oh and yes, there is a typo in the video: intruct should be instruct.
