Party is a 1981 album by early punk musician Iggy Pop. It peaked at number 166 on Billboard's Top 200 albums. When Arista heard the album, they brought in former Monkee producer, Tommy Hart, to remix "Bang Bang". It was released as a single, charting at #35 on the Billboard club play singles chart, and was later covered by David Bowie. Party is the last of Pop's three albums with Arista Records, following New Values and Soldier. The Party tour was documented on the DVD Live in San Francisco. Buddha reissued the album in 2000 with two bonus tracks, "Speak to Me" and Iggy's rendition of the Johnny Mercer classic "One for My Baby (and One More for the Road)". When I'm asleep, you touch my feet You let me know that I am no creep Because I love you, you are for real I'm gonna stay here - pumping for Jill In the gas station where I work Everyone treats me just like a jerk Nobody offers me a tip I'm gonna stay here - pumping Jill's hips... I met you out at the Mardi Gras On a French Quarter sidewalk When you kissed me, it was strong I wonder if you'll hear this song La da da da da da, da da da da... This video is property Iggy Pop.
