1937 chevrolet american lafrance blaze agent / blaze barter algid alpha sulphur springs vol. blaze dept
This as a video I shot of the sulphur springs volunteer fire department's toy ole "hullie" (parade/community relations unit), this truck was the first engine the department had , it was purchased from bristol tennessee in 1969 for the start of the fire department ,it's first chief was Mr.Lee Payne the truck was first housed in the service station next to the department , in the garage bay by night , and out front in the parking lot by day ....there is a lot more to the story , but I am not writing a book , the truck can be seen , if a member of the department is at the station , but don't forget to make a donation to help keep ole "hullie" on the road ...a full restoration has been planed , but has no yet been a reality (funds) the truck has had many uses over the years also...but that is where I will stop for now ...If you just happen to have some parts for a 1937 chevrolet setting around , and would like to donate them to the department give me , or the department a shout ...thanks !!!
